It is 2025 and it is time to get together again for another exciting Crafters Weekend Event!Time for you to gather all your supplies, your imagination and your creativity. Time for you to let everyone else handle things at home. Time for you to get away.
This Crafters Weekend Event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express here in Las Cruces, Friday February 21st through Sunday February 23rd and the theme for this event is “Spring: The season to grow”.
Just gather all the supplies you need to work on the project you’ve been working on, or as is the case for a lot of the attendees, the project that you never have time or space to work on, and bring them to the hotel. Your table space will be waiting for you. You will set up your area and leave it there for 3 days, and come and go as you like to work on the project or to relax. If you do not have a project and would like to start one, this it is a great time to do that, let me know; I can help! Most of us will be doing scrapbooking but there are quilters, ladies sewing, card makers, someone was painting water color last year, someone was knitting and a jewelry maker too. I cannot wait to see what you will bring to work on.
The weekend will include breakfast and lunch each day. Friday being a special day, we will be enjoying dinner together before our White Elephant game.
You are welcome to come in early or craft into the night, the weekend is yours.
The hotel is also offering a discounted rate of $109+tax per night for those who would like to truly ‘get away’ for the weekend. The rooms have 2 beds so bring a friend and make it even more memorable.
